Both: Welcome to a practical talk on fostering high levels of interaction in the language classroom.

MC1: Even if we are already practicing our professions as teachers, our learning never stops so attending seminars like this is still a substantial factor in our professional development.

MC2: That’s right. Actually, this will be the second time that our speaker will do a talk and we are so blessed that we are given an opportunity to have such an expert in our department.

Emcee Script: Teacher Training/Seminar Opening Program


INTRO
Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the _________ TRAINING FOR TEACHERS.
My fellow teachers, it’s that time of year once again – it’s sem break for some but for us it’s
another journey of professional development and hopefully a fun-filled and worthwhile
experience.

That’s right, even if we are not literally taking a break from our role as classroom teachers,
this training/seminar is somewhat a refresher course for us and a perfect opportunity for us to keep
ourselves updated of the educational trends.

Remember, you can’t give what you don’t have so if you want to give more to your students
and to further your commitment in teaching, attending the inset today might just actually be a
right decision.

Since this event is deemed significant, let us officially commence our gathering today by
asking divine intervention as  _____________, a ______________ teacher lead us all in
prayer. This shall be followed by the singing of our National Anthem and the _________hymn . Let us all stand.
